Can a Prosthetic Be Comfortable?

Complete Shaping says “Hell Yes!”

Breast Prosthetics are heavy. In order to keep them in place, they require a thick, irritating, lymph flow interrupting band of elastic. Kathy Conway, bilateral mastectomy survivor, found the entire production too irritating and instead went flat.

After hearing the same complaints from other survivors, she decided to take matters into her own hands, and Complete Shaping was born.

The internet brought Kathy and I together, and after years of seeing my patients struggle with unwieldy prosthetics, I was psyched to learn more about her products. The main difference is her prosthetic is lightweight and built into the tank top itself. It’s great for those “grab and go” moments.

The material is a heather moss jersey fabric that is super soft- and moisture wicking!!! Amazing for those not so amazing hot flashes. Entire garment with built-in prosthetics weighs between 8 ounces and 12 ounces, depending on size. Machine wash on “hand wash” and let it air dry. Easy Peasy!

My Breastie Says is proud to now carry Complete Shaping’s products. Click HERE for more info!
